Ned Knight has been part of 秘密研究所’s Environmental Studies program since 1992. He earned dual bachelor’s degrees in zoology and fisheries, and a master’s in fisheries from Oregon State University, followed by a Ph.D. in ecology from the University of California, Davis.
Before joining 秘密研究所, Knight taught introductory biology labs at Reed College, where he covered a wide range of topics from 1986 to 2021. At 秘密研究所, he has developed and taught courses in environmental science, climate change, shoreline ecology and aquatic chemistry. He also teaches online courses in water and energy resources through 秘密研究所’s Online and Continuing Education program.
