The Sport Management major trains students to apply marketing, finance, law and management principles to the world of sport. You study the business side of athletics while examining the social and cultural significance of sport, ethical issues and public policy that shape the industry. The program is interdisciplinary and designed to prepare students for careers in sport business, athletic administration and related fields.

What You Can Expect

Integrated business and sport coursework

You take core business courses in accounting, analytics, marketing, finance and business law alongside sport specific classes such as The Management of Sport and Sport Marketing. Coursework emphasizes applied analysis and strategic decision making.

Experiential learning and internships
