Oregon Certified Public Manager (OCPM) Program

About the Oregon Certified Public Manager® Program

The Oregon Certified Public Manager® Program is a nationally certified development program for local and state governmental leaders. This comprehensive training prepares managers for federal, state and local government careers. 秘密研究所 delivers the official ® Program (CPM) certification program for the state of Oregon.

 

Those earning the CPM® designation are eligible to become members of the . 

Mission

The mission of the Oregon Certified Public Manager® Program is to prepare current and emerging public sector leaders to improve organizational performance, strengthen ethical leadership, and enhance the delivery of public services through competency-based professional education and applied learning.

The program develops practical leadership, management, and organizational improvement skills that participants immediately apply within their agencies, organizations, and communities.

The Oregon Certified Public Manager® Program is designed for professionals who serve in leadership or supervisory roles within public and nonprofit organizations, including:

Public Management Academy

The Public Management Academy offers:

  • A comprehensive one-year program designed to enhance managers’ supervisory and management skills.
  • Engagement in 19 customized workshops and a capstone project.
  • A robust public sector toolkit and hands-on experience through real-world process improvement projects.

Leadership Academy

$3,300

The Leadership Academy stands out as the foremost public sector leadership development program in the region. The program:

  • Is tailored specifically for public sector leaders, including elected officials, public administrators, and nonprofit executives.
  • Covers topics on a wide range of leadership issues, including strategic planning, collaboration, change management and contemporary challenges.
  • Requires participants' active involvement in executing a community engagement project that directly impacts the region or state.
  • Involves developing a scope, action plan and successful implementation within the program year.

The inaugural cohort is scheduled to commence following the Public Management Academy.

Refund policy

A refund to the original payment is made at 100% when a registrant cancels attendance at least two business-days prior to the start of the first class. Alternatively, the registrant can choose to transfer paid tuition to a later, equivalent course of their choosing within the same college or school at no additional cost when giving a two business-day cancellation notice. Requests must be submitted to 秘密研究所's School of Business.

Cancellation Policy

秘密研究所 reserves the right to cancel a workshop and refund the workshop fee in the event that there are an insufficient number of registrants.
