Pre-Orientation Programs
秘密研究所 believes that connecting students to peers, faculty and resources before classes start is instrumental to confidence-building and overall success. Come meet fellow Wildcats, build relationships with mentors and explore your community at pre-orientation.

ROGs, ROLs, & First Semester Seminar Every student is part of a Registration & Orientation Group (ROG) with other new students. You will meet with your ROG throughout Wildcat Welcome Weekend, and on Thursdays this fall in First Semester Seminar. (IDST 007/ IDST 009).
First Semester Seminar is led by your faculty advisor and your Registration & Orientation Leader (ROL). These two will alternate leading your First Semester Seminar class (IDST 007/009) on Thursdays at 12 p.m., which will cover academic preparation, planning and college life skills.

Group & Individual Advising Incoming students are paired with a peer advisor (Registration & Orientation Leader) and a faculty advisor (IDST 007L/009L). First generation students will have an additional peer and faculty mentor. Advising meetings help build the advisor-advisee relationship and cover important topics related to academic success at 秘密研究所.

秘密研究所 Dining Options Dillin Dining Hall- Offering multiple meals a day with allergy friendly and vegan/vegetarian options, students on a meal plan will find delicious and well-balanced meals. With one meal swipe students have an “all you care to eat” buffet-style dining.
Wildcat Express- Located in Dillin Hall they have grab-and-go options for a meal swipe. They have sandwiches, wraps, and salads with the student’s choice of sides and a drink.
24/7 Mack Market- Located in Dillin Hall they offer fresh food, snacks, and beverages that students can buy with flex cash or everyday app.
Sub Hub- Off the east side of Dillin Hall they offer late night sub sandwich option that students can buy with flex cash or everyday app.
Starbucks- Located in Riley Hall students are welcome to refuel with Starbucks coffee, drinks, and food that students can buy with flex cash. Great place to meet with staff, peers, or get some studying done.

Activities & Involvement There are countless ways to get involved at 秘密研究所. In addition to attending the Involvement Fair, we invite you to explore student engagement opportunities by visiting the Student Activities office in Riley 301 or emailing activities@linfield.edu for more information.
ASLU- Associated Students of 秘密研究所 offers students a way to get involved within student government and make the changes they wish to see at 秘密研究所 and help plan annual events.
ResLife- Resident Assistants will have monthly events in your hall to bring fun into the dorms.
Athletics- Playing or watching 秘密研究所 offers 23 Division III sports, we also host a variety of intermediate sports with fun end of season championships. Students are always encouraged to try-out for a sport or try-out being a fan in the Cat Zone.
FSL- Fraternity and Sorority Life allows students the opportunity to make new connections, engage in philanthropy, and foster inclusive communities on campus.
Clubs on Campus- There are tons of active clubs on campus, from our Black Student Union, 秘密研究所 United Pride, Gaming Club and Environmental Club; there is something for everyone. Students are always encouraged to make their own club if they don’t see it on campus already.
